Understanding Chemical Processes
– Sharing Industrial Practises with Academic Partners.
Affinis is pleased to have been involved with the Fourth Annual Workshop at Southampton University. Academic staff from universities across the British Isles attended (from Edinburgh to Oxford, Dublin to London).
The Affinis role in these workshops is both coaching returning participants as coaches and mentors for first timers; and to stimulate discussion and thought on transfer and implementation of techniques such as Design of Experiments and Principal Components Analysis into new academic environments. We were particularly pleased this year to work with transfer and implementation specialists from Durham University and Imperial College London.
